Oberlin College has made significant progress toward its ambitious goal of carbon neutrality by 2025. The campus energy infrastructure will be upgraded to allow a major shift from fossil fuels to renewable geothermal energy as the primary source for heating and cooling our campus buildings. This is the fourth year of the project, that includes expanding the distribution network, connecting buildings, and installing the geothermal wellfield.
